WENDI'S PRIORITIES

MEET WENDI
As a proud Texas native, I learned the true meaning of resilience and grit at a young age. As the first from my family to go to college, I graduated from UTSA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. I worked to ensure I could provide a better future for my son. I am a former educator and Dallas Library Board Member who has dedicated my life to education, helping to ensure a brighter future for the next generation.
A vocal advocate for our community, I am known for being reliable, honest, and trustworthy. I am not a politician; I am a mother, I am a wife, and I am an educator. I will bring our neighborhoods together to find solutions that keep our families safe and will fight for those being taxed out of their homes..
As our city councilwoman, I will be a persistent voice and transparent leader for all members of our community. Family means everything to me, just like I know it does to the city of Dallas. My husband of 13 years, Kendall, and I are residents of Los Altos in West Dallas, where we are raising our 9-year-old son Chase, a DISD student and we are active members at Fellowship Dallas.
I am running for city council to serve my community as a neighborhood advocate. I believe in leadership that respects the voices of the community members who elect them. I will put my leadership experience, common sense and dedication to serving my community to work for the taxpayers of District 6.
